Overview
This internship places you within TikTok’s AI Data Service & Eco Operations (ADSEO) team, a core part of Trust & Safety responsible for training and improving security models across global products. You’ll support high-impact data and labeling projects, learn how large-scale AI systems are maintained, and contribute to creating a safer environment for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities
- Support labeling initiatives by preparing datasets, tracking output metrics, and ensuring accuracy.
- Use internal tools and dashboards to monitor project progress, highlight issues, and recommend adjustments.
- Assist with data analysis to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Help prepare regular updates and documentation to improve project visibility.
- Contribute to refining workflows to enhance efficiency, clarity, and consistency.
- Stay aware of social trends and potential risk areas to inform project insights.
- Coordinate with the wider Trust & Safety team on tasks related to model training and content integrity.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in university and able to commit for at least 3 months with 4 working days per week.
- Academic background or interest in linguistics, journalism, political science, philosophy, or related areas.
- Fluent in English with strong analytical and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working with Excel and interpreting data.
- Able to learn new processes quickly and navigate a fast-paced environment.
- Interested in project management, AI operations, and social content trends.
- Emotionally prepared for occasional exposure to sensitive or harmful content.
