Overview
Johnson Controls is seeking an enthusiastic Engineering Intern (Traffic Systems) to support improvement projects across Singapore’s smart infrastructure operations. This internship places you at the heart of real engineering work — from process optimisation to hands-on exposure with traffic monitoring technologies and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse existing workflows and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Explore automation ideas and build simple scripts (e.g., Python) to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools for performance tracking.
- Integrate data from various system sources to support continuous improvement work.
- Assist with job measurement sheets, method statements and site survey reports.
- Contribute to Singapore’s traffic system enhancement efforts and participate in RCMS software upgrades.
- Provide drafting support for single-line diagrams in ACAD.
- Work closely with installation and administrative teams to monitor processes and maintain workflow consistency.
Requirements
- Studying electrical, mechanical, mechatronics or related engineering.
- Able to commit full-time for 6–12 months.
- Basic programming knowledge (Python, C++, etc.).
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to present data clearly.
- Creative, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
- Keen interest in problem-solving and improving real-world processes.
