Overview
Join Signify’s System Center Team as a Systems Engineer Intern and gain six months of hands-on experience shaping real-world smart lighting and IoT solutions. This role places you alongside experienced engineers on live projects, giving you direct exposure to the technologies powering smart buildings, connected systems, and sustainable innovations.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to designing programmable system components that support large-scale lighting and control solutions.
- Review technical schematics, control designs and engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Build mock-ups to test system behaviour, interoperability and feature performance.
- Support system commissioning both remotely and on-site, resolving issues and validating proper functionality.
- Prepare testing documents, procedures, records and turnover materials for project handovers.
- Coordinate with third-party subcontractors and participate in construction and customer walkdowns to close punch-list items.
- Develop user guides and training materials and assist in customer handover sessions.
- Help stakeholders prepare cost estimates, solution upgrades and architecture quotes.

Requirements
- Undergraduate or recent graduate in Engineering (Computer, Electrical or Electronics preferred).
- Fluent in English; CAD knowledge and basic IT networking skills are advantages.
- Able to commit to a full-time 6-month internship.
