Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration of building inspection programmes to ensure safety compliance
- Assist in reviewing inspection reports and preparing follow-up documentation
- Help track and process cases involving unauthorised building works
- Manage public enquiries and feedback related to building safety issues
- Aid in preliminary investigations of building incidents to identify possible causes
- Contribute research and inputs for policy or framework updates
- Provide administrative and operational support to building control teams
- Assist officers in coordinating cross-agency activities when required
Requirements
- Currently studying Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Great communication skills and the ability to work well with different stakeholders
- Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently when needed
- Genuine interest in building safety, regulations, or the built environment sector
