Overview
Dyson’s Singapore Technology Centre is offering a hands-on Mechanical Engineering internship where you’ll work directly on real product components from day one. You’ll join a team within Research, Design & Development (RDD)—the heart of Dyson’s invention process—supporting the design, testing and refinement of future technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end development of mechanical parts, from early concepts to production-ready designs
- Build and refine CAD models, assemblies and engineering drawings
- Create experiments, fixtures and simple test rigs to validate performance
- Analyse data to inform design iterations and improve component reliability
- Explore new ideas for future Dyson technologies through concept sketching and prototyping
- Collaborate with experts across engineering teams to solve design challenges
- Document findings, test outcomes, and design recommendations
- Present progress and insights to your project team
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace or related engineering
- Experience applying engineering fundamentals through school projects or competitions
- Comfortable using CAD tools and basic analysis methods
- Creative thinker who enjoys tackling open-ended problems
- Able to learn quickly, seek help when needed, and contribute ideas
- Excited by Dyson’s engineering culture and fast-moving environment
