Overview
Motorola Solutions is a global leader in critical communications and public safety technology, empowering safer communities through advanced radio systems, video security and integrated command solutions. As a Field Service Support Intern, you’ll join the System Integration & Services team, working alongside engineers who design, model and deploy next-generation communication systems for real-world safety operations. This internship is ideal for students who want hands-on experience with telecommunications, cybersecurity and system deployment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support field engineers in the deployment of LMR communication systems and cybersecurity solutions.
- Assist with equipment installation, system configuration, documentation and testing during project rollouts.
- Help prepare and execute Factory Acceptance Tests and System Acceptance Tests with customers.
- Contribute to system optimization, troubleshooting and root-cause investigations for technical issues.
- Work with project managers to align deliverables, expectations and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Generate installation records, diagrams and As-Built documentation for completed systems.

Requirements

- Strong communication, teamwork and stakeholder-coordination skills.
- Interest in RF systems or cybersecurity is a plus.
