Role Overview
As an intern, you will work on live projects from day one, contributing technical expertise while learning from industry experts. You will have ownership of project deliverables and gain exposure to Dyson’s cutting-edge manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Research, Design, Development, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to optimize assembly and component manufacturing processes.
- Work with contract manufacturing and production providers.
- Lead or participate in data-driven risk analysis for manufacturing plans.
- Develop, prepare, and review reports to identify and recommend engineering solutions.
- Test and assess reliability and robustness of machines or testers.
- Troubleshoot and fix manufacturing issues alongside global cross-functional teams.
- Share knowledge and contribute to the technical development of the team.
Candidate Profile
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Able to apply technical knowledge to solve practical problems.
- Comfortable interpreting 2D drawings for mechanical parts.
- Interest in Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Automation, Robotics, AGVs, and Factory Automation.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from a multidisciplinary team.
- Creative approach to problem-solving with passion for Dyson technology.
