Overview
Garena Singapore is offering a 6-month full-time internship in its Shared Game Services (SGS) team through the GRIT Programme. SGS provides critical platform services for all Garena games, including authentication, payment systems, and mobile SDKs. As an intern, you’ll be involved in maintaining live game environments, coordinating quality assurance tasks, and collaborating with both local and global teams to ensure a seamless gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor live game environments, including configuration management and bug handling.
- Perform quality assurance testing, documenting results and reporting defects clearly.
- Assist with operational evaluation and process improvement for gaming products.
- Coordinate QA and configuration tasks between different offices and teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot product-related issues.
- Execute basic SQL queries to support data validation and reporting.
- Learn and apply automation testing concepts and scripting frameworks under guidance.
Requirements
- Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; earlier graduates must have completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and test case design.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing and QA tools (e.g., TestRail, Postman).
- Ability to run simple SQL queries for data validation.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail in documenting issues.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learn new technologies and frameworks.
