Key Responsibilities
· Assist in analyzing the accuracy of half-hourly solar forecasts by comparing daily profiles and reporting data abnormalities.
· Support energy storage test bedding initiatives to evaluate system performance and integration.
· Help automate processes for extracting and analyzing data from Operational Technology (OT) systems.
· Automate the checking of information and data submitted by licensees for database and display construction.
· Write code to ingest and convert Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) and satellite image files into the correct format for the solar forecasting model.
Requirements
· Currently pursuing a Degree in Engineering or a Diploma in Computing, Data Science, or a related technical field.
· Foundational knowledge in programming (e.g., Python) for data processing and automation.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for data validation and analysis.
· An interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or smart grid technologies.
· Ability to work independently on defined tasks and collaborate effectively within a team.
