Overview
Keppel Data Centres is offering a Data Centre Operations Internship in Singapore, providing students with hands-on exposure to the management of critical infrastructure. Interns will support engineers and operations leads in ensuring uninterrupted operations, performing routine checks, and assisting with maintenance management for high-performance data centres.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Shift Engineers and Operations Leads in daily monitoring and management of data centre systems.
- Assist in handovers and briefings to technicians on ongoing tasks and operational instructions.
- Conduct routine inspections using checklists to ensure all critical systems are functioning correctly.
- Monitor environmental conditions to detect and report anomalies.
- Support preventive maintenance scheduling to maximize system uptime.
- Document observations and contribute to operational reports for internal review.
- Coordinate with team members to resolve operational issues promptly.
Requirements
- Current diploma or degree student in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities, or Building Management.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, UPS, chillers, and fire safety systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and technical environment.
