As an intern in the Human Resources team, you play a key role in attracting, developing, and engaging individuals who align with ActSEA’s values while fostering a positive work environment to enable team members to contribute effectively to the implementation and scaling of our projects.
- Work closely with team leads to draft and publish openings on recruitment platforms for staff, interns, and volunteers.
- Monitor and follow up on applications, including arranging and conducting interviews, preparing contracts, and onboarding incoming members.
- Collaborate with team leads to review and update the status of volunteers, re-engaging or offboarding them as necessary.
- Support the growth of team members by planning and implementing professional development initiatives.
- Coordinate with staff to plan and carry out organisation-wide engagement activities, including staff check-ins and bonding sessions, volunteer newsletters, and volunteer huddles.
- Send and analyse information from mental health check-in messages.
- Streamline HR processes and develop policies to improve efficiency and build culture.
