Overview
Join Tencent’s Global Public Affairs (GPA) team in Singapore as a Trust & Safety, Public Affairs & Global Policy Intern. You will support initiatives that shape responsible technology policies and help navigate the complex landscape of online safety, AI regulation, and digital governance. This role offers a unique vantage point to understand how a global tech leader engages with critical policy issues and builds trust in its products.

Key Responsibilities
· Monitor and analyze global Trust & Safety policy developments, preparing concise briefs on their implications.
· Support the design and tracking of project plans for key policy initiatives and programs.
· Assist in compiling briefing materials, Q&A libraries, and risk assessments for stakeholder engagements.
· Help coordinate internal workshops and cross-functional meetings to align on safety-by-design principles.
· Conduct research to benchmark policies against industry standards and peer company practices.
· Manage document repositories, meeting notes, and version control for policy assets and reports.
· Support post-initiative reviews to synthesize lessons learned and contribute to best-practice toolkits.
Requirements
· Able to commit to a full-time, 6-month internship (minimum 40 hours/week), starting around June 2025.
· A strong interest in technology policy, digital governance, online safety, or related fields.
· Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
· Superb organizational and time-management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
· A collaborative mindset, comfortable working both independently and within a global, multicultural team.
· Proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
