Position: Infrastructure Senior Technology Analyst

The Infrastructure Senior Technology Analyst is responsible for Middleware Web Hosting support, providing technical guidance, ensuring security, and coordinating with the Technology Infrastructure team. This role supports global applications and contributes to operational efficiency, risk management, and strategic technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Coordinate day-to-day support and 24x7 coverage for 2,500+ Webhosting instances supporting 200+ Global Wealth and USPB applications.
- System Administration: Plan, install, maintain, and optimize webhosting products; monitor system performance, participate in capacity planning, and perform tuning.
- Vendor & Project Coordination: Interface with vendors for issue resolution and patching; manage system projects and coordinate activities with development and data center teams.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as SME for Middleware web products including WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, WebLogic, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Automation & Scripting: Write shell and Python scripts to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure alignment with regulatory and internal policies; escalate and report control issues appropriately.
- Strategic Contribution: Participate in global Webhosting initiatives and provide input on technical direction and strategic decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- 9–12 years in Infrastructure Technologies delivery, with experience in operational process improvements.
- Strong hands-on experience with Middleware web products, load balancers, and firewall management.
- Proficient in scripting with Shell and Python.
- Cloud technology understanding and familiarity with system architecture.
- Experience in Financial Services or complex global environments preferred.
- Effective communication, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with virtual or in-person teams.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
