Key Responsibilities
· Assist in evaluating telecommunications service licence applications and advising potential applicants on requirements.
· Support the review and development of licensing frameworks and policies to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
· Contribute to projects aimed at streamlining licensing processes to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
· Help formulate and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and address process gaps.
· Aid in researching market and technological developments to inform regulatory strategies.
· Support the team in preparing responses to public and licensee queries regarding licensing matters.
· Assist in preparing communications, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
· Currently pursuing a Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
· A strong interest in technology policy, telecommunications, and the regulatory landscape.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly.
· Good interpersonal skills and the ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders.
· Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
· An analytical mindset with an understanding of the business and economic impacts of emerging technologies.
· Any prior exposure to the telecommunications industry is advantageous.
