Overview
Dive into the science of scent as a Body Care Intern within IFF's Science, Technology & Innovation (ST&I) team. You will support our Scent division in Singapore, focusing on fabric care innovations that harness the emotional power of fragrance. This onsite role offers a unique chance to contribute to tangible product development projects in a world-class creative and scientific environment.

· Gain hands-on laboratory experience in the development of scent applications for body and fabric care products.

Key Responsibilities
· Partner with senior scientists to support key fabric care projects, helping to advance research toward category goals.
· Prepare and formulate application samples for performance and stability testing according to precise specifications.
· Document experimental procedures, observations, and results accurately to support project reporting and analysis.
· Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure operational reliability.
· Manage laboratory inventory by monitoring supply levels and assisting with organization and replenishment.
· Uphold the highest standards of laboratory housekeeping, safety, and hygiene in all daily activities.
· Complete additional ad-hoc tasks to support the broader objectives and efficiency of the lab team.
Requirements
· Currently pursuing a Diploma or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
· Able to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) with care and precision.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain orderly workspaces.
· A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
· A fundamental understanding of, and respect for, laboratory safety protocols and best practices.
· A meticulous and detail-oriented approach to all experimental and documentation work.
· Adaptable and able to maintain focus and quality in a dynamic project environment.
