Overview
Standard Chartered is inviting data-driven Polytechnic graduates to join its Wealth & Retail Banking – Banking Operations Apprenticeship Programme. Over 12 months, you’ll rotate across Lending & Liabilities operations, Payments and Clearing, shared utilities, and outsourcing governance. This programme offers a hands-on opportunity to work with real operational processes and data analytics within a global banking environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organise third-party outsourcing governance documentation.
- Schedule and track risk assessments and compliance activities across all arrangements.
- Collect, consolidate, and analyse data on client complaints and application requests.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations for improving complaint resolution processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure governance standards and operational best practices are followed.
- Support reporting and visualisation of operational metrics for senior management.
Requirements
- Polytechnic Diploma graduate with less than 2 years of work experience.
- Permanent legal right to work in Singapore.
- Interest in banking, finance, and operational processes.
- Basic understanding of data analytics, reporting, and visualisation tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in teams.
