As part of the Labcorp 2026 Global Internship Program, the BioAnalytical Lab Operations Intern will gain hands-on exposure to how a modern laboratory runs and how operational excellence drives meaningful health outcomes for patients worldwide.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain accurate tracking of lab consumables and reagents, ensuring stock levels are updated and replenished on time.
- Coordinate procurement activities by preparing purchase requests, MSRs, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare key laboratory materials—including buffers and pipette consumables—to ensure smooth daily workflows.
- Support compliance activities by assisting with monthly chemical inventory, chemical requests, and stock audits.
- Conduct regular warehouse checks to reconcile inventory records and highlight supply risks early.
- Contribute to process-improvement initiatives such as workflow optimisation, documentation enhancements, and alert systems for low-stock items.
What You’ll Need
- Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business IT, or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, conditional formatting; VBA/Macros a plus).
- Familiarity with Power BI or other dashboard/reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working closely with lab managers and scientists.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to commit to a full-time internship of up to six months.
