Overview

This internship places you within Mapletree’s Financial Risk Management team, where you will support how risk is identified, measured, and communicated across a global real estate portfolio. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world investment and asset risk analysis while gaining exposure to international property markets. The role is designed to build strong analytical thinking through hands-on financial and data-driven work.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse real estate market data across regions to support risk framework reviews
Assist with financial models to evaluate investment and portfolio risk
Support preparation of quarterly risk reports and management presentations
Perform basic quantitative and qualitative risk assessments using established models
Contribute to stress testing and scenario analysis for assets and investments
Research market trends and risk indicators to support decision-making
Support ad-hoc analytical projects assigned by the risk management team

Requirements

Undergraduate student with strong numerical and analytical skills
Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and financial concepts
Able to work independently while collaborating within a team
Willing to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and good organisational skills
Basic knowledge of real estate, Python, VBA, or Power BI is a plus
