Overview
This internship sits within Monee’s Regional Bank AML product team, where you will support the development, testing, and improvement of anti-money laundering systems used across bank and non-bank entities. You will work closely with Compliance, Data, Engineering, and Operations teams while learning how real-world financial crime controls are built and maintained. The role combines product thinking, analytics, and hands-on system exposure in a regulated fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support AML product features from early concept through testing and post-launch review
- Create and run screening engine test cases to validate system effectiveness
- Assist with daily system operations, including release checks and issue tracking
- Contribute to AI and LLM experiments such as alert triage and screening explainability
- Help define metrics and evaluate results from testing and experiments
- Gather and document requirements from Compliance and Operations teams
- Prepare clear summaries to support product and risk-related decisions
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
- Comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations
- Strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams
- Self-motivated and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Prior product or tech internship experience is a plus, not required
