Overview
Join NVIDIA’s Autonomous Vehicle Research team as a Research Intern and dive into the forefront of self-driving technology. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced techniques for autonomous vehicle perception, planning, and control
- Conduct experiments and evaluate novel approaches to improve AV performance and safety
- Collaborate with internal teams and external researchers to advance research objectives
- Publish original research and contribute to open-source projects where applicable
- Translate research findings into solutions that can be adopted by NVIDIA product teams
- Develop and optimize software in Python, C++, and potentially CUDA for autonomous systems
- Maintain rigorous documentation and communication of research progress and outcomes
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Research experience in vehicle or robotic autonomy
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of autonomy systems and AI for robotics
- Proven track record of research excellence, including publications in top conferences or journals
- Advanced programming skills in Python; knowledge of C++ and CUDA is a plus
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, research-focused environment
