Overview
GlobalFoundries is offering a technology-focused engineering internship within its Technology Enablement team for students interested in semiconductor development. In this role, you’ll support the development of high-voltage intellectual property by working on material characterization and reliability analysis for advanced resistor technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical measurements to characterise materials and extract key properties
- Analyse test data using statistical methods to identify trends and performance limits
- Evaluate the reliability of fabricated resistors against automotive requirements
- Propose improvement ideas based on test results and failure analysis
- Collaborate with engineers across process, device, and technology teams
- Document findings clearly to support development decisions
- Follow safety and quality procedures during all laboratory and testing activities
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering or physics-related field
- Interest in semiconductors, electronic devices, or microelectronics
- Comfortable working with experimental data and basic analysis methods
- Willing to learn laboratory procedures and follow structured processes
- Able to communicate findings clearly in written and verbal form
- Available for a 20–24 week, credit-bearing internship from January 2026
