Overview
Join Johnson Controls SEA as an Engineering Intern in the Project Delivery team, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in building automation and smart building systems. You’ll support the design, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and mechanical control systems, contributing directly to real-world projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and testing control logic for HVAC and other mechanical systems.
- Support the creation of engineering documents, submittals, and project proposals.
- Configure sensors, controllers, and network components for building automation projects.
- Participate in site surveys, installations, and system commissioning.
- Prepare wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and sequences of operations.
- Help with software integration, point mapping, and visualization setup for BMS interfaces.
- Document field activities, test results, and update As-Built drawings.
- Attend technical meetings and contribute to reports or presentations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Building Services Engineering.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, control systems, and electrical circuits.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and optionally BACnet/Modbus programming.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to work on-site occasionally.
- Passion for smart buildings, automation, and sustainability technologies.
