Overview
Join Amazon’s AWS Infrastructure team as a Physical Security Intern in Singapore and gain hands-on experience in data center security operations. You will support the Physical Security Team by coordinating daily security activities, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with AWS security policies. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily security operations for assigned AWS data center(s)
- Conduct inspections, audits, and reviews to ensure compliance with AWS security standards
- Support vendor and contract guard force coordination, tracking deliverables and escalation of issues
- Help implement media security requirements and maintain operational consistency
- Troubleshoot security devices alongside local system integrators
- Prepare reports and documentation summarizing findings and operational updates
- Communicate security policies and procedures to internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or degree in relevant fields
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Interest in security operations, compliance, or data center infrastructure
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a professional team environment
- Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced setting
