Overview
Join Keppel’s Infrastructure Division and gain hands-on exposure to how large-scale environmental and energy facilities are operated, maintained, and improved. As an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Intern, you’ll rotate across key functions within a commercial waste-to-energy (WTE) plant, supporting digitalisation initiatives, plant operations, engineering activities, audits, and innovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in digitalising O&M processes, including GoArc, ePTW, and daily operational workflows
- Participate in day-to-day plant operations and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
- Shadow maintenance engineers during boiler overhaul planning and progress tracking
- Analyse plant issues, perform troubleshooting, and document findings for process optimisation
- Support O&M-led innovation projects related to safety, efficiency, and new technologies
- Help prepare for internal and external audits (ISO standards, Energy Conservation Act, Carbon Pricing Act, etc.)
- Contribute to overseas WTE project activities where applicable
- Provide research, operational insights, and perspectives to management discussions
Requirements
- Pursuing an engineering degree with interest in WTE or environmental solutions
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
- Clear communicator with good teamwork skills
- Comfortable taking initiative and working independently
- Open to hands-on fieldwork and learning from experienced engineers
- Bonus: double-degree students or those with multidisciplinary exposure
