Overview
Agoda is looking for a Japanese-speaking Product Research Intern to support its Product team in understanding the Japanese travel market. This role offers hands-on exposure to product research, competitive analysis, and market insights that directly influence product strategy in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Research the Japanese travel and OTA market to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences
- Conduct detailed product teardowns, assessing features, usability, and customer experience
- Translate and interpret Japanese product and market content into clear English insights
- Share findings with product teams to support product development and strategy discussions
- Prepare structured reports and presentations to communicate insights effectively
- Track ongoing changes and emerging trends in the Japanese travel industry
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an MBA or Master’s programme and maintaining student status during the internship
- Native-level Japanese proficiency with strong written and spoken English
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with good numerical confidence
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Curious, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, multicultural environment
