Overview
Join the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Cybersecurity Intern within the Data and Technology Architecture (DTA) team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks
- Assist in evaluating and enhancing MAS’ security posture through threat intelligence and security trend analysis
- Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and vulnerability assessments throughout software lifecycles
- Support the design and deployment of standardized security controls across applications and infrastructure
- Work with infrastructure teams to develop and maintain automated security baselines for cloud and on-premises systems
- Prepare reports and documentation summarizing security findings and mitigation recommendations
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, tools, and methodologies
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, networks, or application security
- Analytical mindset with strong research and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment
