Overview
This internship offers hands-on exposure to semiconductor operations and data analytics within Micron’s High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) sample management team. You will work closely with engineering, planning, and operations stakeholders to understand how samples move through complex manufacturing workflows. A key focus of the role is turning operational data into clear dashboards and insights that support better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Map the end-to-end HBM sample flow and document how samples move across systems
- Analyze operational data to identify delays, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Build interactive dashboards to track work-in-progress and performance trends
- Automate reports and data updates to reduce manual tracking efforts
- Observe and document manual shopfloor activities to improve process clarity
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand system handoffs and workflows
- Prepare clear summaries and recommendations for stakeholders
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Comfortable working with data using Excel and willing to learn new tools
- Basic knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Python, or SQL is helpful
- Curious about manufacturing processes and how systems work together
- Able to communicate clearly and work well in a team
- Willing to learn quickly in a technical environment
