Overview
Join NETS’ Cybersecurity Division and get hands-on experience protecting one of Singapore’s most widely used payment networks. As a Cybersecurity Intern, you’ll rotate across core security functions, support real operational workflows, and learn how threats are detected, managed, and prevented in a national payments environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and upkeep of cybersecurity policies and internal security guidelines
- Assist in conducting security risk reviews to identify gaps and propose preventive measures
- Help run vulnerability scans and compliance checks to ensure systems meet security standards
- Contribute to the upkeep of security tools and platforms used in daily operations
- Participate in cybersecurity monitoring to detect unusual activity and escalate alerts
- Compile dashboards and reports to track key security metrics and outcomes
- Collaborate with team members during investigations and follow-up actions
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or holding a confirmed offer for a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related fields
- Interest or experience in cybersecurity competitions, labs, or previous internships
- Basic programming skills, ideally in Python or PowerShell
- Comfortable navigating Unix/Linux and/or Windows environments
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and ability to explain ideas clearly
