Position: Professional Officer (All Levels) – Diagnostic Radiography

SIT seeks experienced industry professionals under the Professional Officers scheme to bridge academia and practice. In this role, you will leverage deep technical expertise in radiography to deliver applied learning, support research, mentor students, and manage lab resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Mentorship: Design and teach laboratory and practice modules; mentor students in Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP).
- Industry Innovation: Lead or co-lead applied research and innovation projects with industry partners.
- Laboratory Management: Oversee lab operations, equipment, and resources to support academic programs and research.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure laboratory safety and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Curriculum Integration: Apply industry practices to create authentic learning experiences and enrich student understanding.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Radiography or related field (PhD is a plus).
- 10+ years of relevant clinical experience in acute, community, or other healthcare settings.
- Clinical competence in radiography; specialization in MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Angiography, or Fluoroscopy preferred.
- Experience in simulated healthcare environments or with educational manikins is advantageous.
- Strong interest and proven ability in innovation and problem-solving within technical projects.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills and ability to mentor students in applied learning.
- Up-to-date with industry developments; professional certifications are advantageous.
