Overview

This internship places you within HDB’s Community Partnerships Department, where you will support public engagement efforts that connect residents with important housing and community initiatives. You will focus on improving educational materials and helping deliver meaningful on-the-ground engagement programmes across neighbourhoods in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Review existing community engagement materials and identify areas for improvement
Redesign or enhance educational collaterals to improve clarity, appeal, and user experience
Contribute ideas to help expand outreach through better visual and digital communication
Assist in preparing materials for physical and digital community programmes
Support the planning and execution of engagement activities such as roadshows and tours
Help ensure materials are suitable for different audiences and age groups
Provide on-site support for selected community events when required

Requirements

Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Communications or a related field
Comfortable using basic design tools such as Canva or Adobe software
Interest in community work, public engagement, or social initiatives
Willingness to learn and take feedback positively
Able to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
Open to occasional weekday or weekend event support
