Key Responsibilities
· Work with the analytics team to analyse disease surveillance data, identify epidemiological trends, and prepare clear reports and dashboards.
· Assist in the preparation of local annual reports (e.g., HIV report) and international data submissions by conducting analysis and creating visualisations.
· Support the maintenance and improvement of monitoring systems by helping to assess data quality and identify areas for enhancement.
· Assist in developing and refining data collection tools, surveys, and questionnaires for surveillance and programme evaluation.
· Contribute to the development of publications and policy documents through data analysis, chart creation, and editorial support.
· Handle sensitive health data with the utmost discretion, integrity, and in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
Requirements
· A fresh graduate who has completed a degree in Public Health, Health Information Management, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related field.
· Strong proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R, Stata, or Python for data management and analysis.
· Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
· An understanding of, and sensitivity towards, the public health landscape for HIV, Hepatitis, and STIs in Singapore.
· A collaborative team player who can work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
· High personal integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
