Pacific Refreshments, a key Coca-Cola concentrate manufacturing plant in Asia, is seeking a Sustainability Intern to support its engineering and operations teams. This internship offers hands-on exposure to energy management, environmental initiatives, and plant-level sustainability projects within a large-scale manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Analyse energy and water metering data to identify efficiency gaps and recommend improvements
- Support environmental research, impact assessments, and sustainability reporting efforts
- Collaborate with external research partners on climate and HVAC energy-management system development
- Assist in developing eco-friendly policies and supporting community-focused green initiatives
- Lead or support thermal performance studies to prioritise projects for the plant’s Net Zero Carbon Roadmap
- Apply analytical tools to real-world facility challenges and propose solutions
- Conduct data gathering, troubleshoot system issues with vendors, and provide updates to stakeholders
Requirements
- Studying Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related fields
- Comfortable managing tasks involving multiple stakeholders
- Self-driven and willing to learn independently
- Interest in analytics, energy management, and digital systems
- Bonus: Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or ISO 50001 concepts
