Overview
Mott MacDonald, a global consultancy tackling complex engineering challenges, is offering a 20‑week Electrical Engineering internship in Singapore. You will join a diverse team working on building‑services projects and gain exposure to real‑world design, BIM tools and cross‑disciplinary coordination.
What You'll Get Out of This Internship

Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering calculations for building services, including cable sizing and lighting layouts.
- Develop single‑line diagrams, lightning protection and earthing designs.
- Assist with extra‑low‑voltage and solar‑PV system design.
- Use BIM tools and software like Dialux for analysis and automated design.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project documentation.
- Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports and presentations.
Requirements
- Currently in the 3rd year of a BEng in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Interest in building‑services and a willingness to learn industry standards.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
- Team‑oriented with clear communication skills.
- Familiarity with Python, Excel VBA or similar technical tools is a plus.
