- Work with print-down substrates to compare mask defects with resulting wafer-level defects.
- Support tool-matching and characterization activities to improve process accuracy and repeatability.
- Set up automated photomask and substrate scanning recipes for defect detection.
- Learn to operate key inspection and metrology tools used in semiconductor fabrication.
- Contribute to process documentation and data tracking to support engineering decisions.
What You Will Learn
- How photomask integrity affects semiconductor manufacturing outcomes.
- Hands-on exposure to inspection technologies, automated scanning workflows and defect classification.
- Practical experience in data compilation, analysis and reporting for real engineering use cases.
- Understanding of tool-matching activities and how process variation is managed in high-volume production.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and interest in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Comfortable with data compilation and structured documentation.
- Willingness to learn machine operation and automated scanning setups.
- Good analytical skills and a positive, proactive learning mindset.
