Overview
Join Infineon’s Asia Pacific Design Center as a Product & Test Intern and gain hands-on exposure to cutting-edge automotive microcontroller technologies. You’ll work closely with an assigned mentor while contributing to digitalization, automation, and data-driven improvements that support Infineon’s next-generation automotive solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Build and enhance internal automation tools that streamline data extraction, processing and reporting for the Product & Test teams.
- Develop and upgrade interactive dashboards on platforms like Tableau to help engineers visualize performance trends and technical insights.
- Support system integrations by setting up and maintaining interfaces with UNIX servers and MySQL databases.
- Analyze key datasets—including heat maps, incident logs, regression outcomes and change requests—to highlight risks and improvement opportunities.
- Explore AI/ML techniques (where applicable) to generate predictive insights and support forward-looking engineering decisions.
What You’ll Learn
- How engineering teams use visualization and automation to accelerate development cycles in the automotive semiconductor industry.
- Practical experience building scripting tools in Python or Perl and working with databases such as MySQL.
- Real-world exposure to project dashboards, KPIs and digitalization workflows used in large-scale product development.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Technology or related fields.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebook, Tableau).
- Interest and basic skills in scripting/programming (Python and/or Perl).
- Knowledge of SQL, UNIX environments, AI/ML or data mining is a strong advantage.
- Curious, analytical and eager to learn in a fast-moving engineering environment.
