Overview
The Smart Nation Group Traineeship offers a unique opportunity to work within the Strategy, Policy and Resourcing (SPR) Division, contributing to digital transformation across Singapore’s whole-of-government (WOG) initiatives. Interns will support strategic resource allocation, evaluate funding proposals, and help shape policies to scale digital products and capabilities across government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement frameworks for resourcing prioritization and policy for critical WOG digital priorities.
- Evaluate and provide recommendations for proposals submitted to the Central Digitalisation Budget and Initiation Budget.
- Coordinate and manage resourcing rounds, ensuring quality evaluations and strategic alignment.
- Monitor the performance of resourced digital products and recommend interventions or scaling opportunities.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline funding and enhance operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain partnerships with government stakeholders, including ministries, agencies, and internal teams.
Requirements
- Background in finance, economics, computer science, engineering, public policy, or related fields.
- Relevant experience in strategic finance, resource management, venture capital, private equity, or digital product development is preferred.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
- Interest in technology and digital trends; technical knowledge or experience with digital products is a plus.
