Overview
This internship places you inside one of Asia’s leading research environments, where you’ll support ongoing projects in graph data systems, machine learning, and algorithm design. Working with NTU’s College of Computing and Data Science, you’ll contribute to exploratory research, prototype development, and real-world experimentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing software modules for managing and processing graph-structured data
- Support the design and testing of machine learning models that improve graph data efficiency
- Run experiments, document results, and help optimise algorithms
- Build small-scale prototypes to validate research ideas
- Contribute to drafting visualisations, technical slides, and research summaries
- Help maintain experiment scripts, datasets, and evaluation tools
- Participate in internal discussions to refine research directions
- Track project progress and prepare supporting documentation
Requirements
- Undergraduate or postgraduate student in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Comfortable with Python or similar programming languages
- Curious about machine learning, algorithms, or data systems
- Able to work independently and ask questions when unsure
- Strong analytical mindset and willingness to explore new concepts
- Any prior project or coursework in ML, databases, or software engineering is a plus
