Key Responsibilities
- Build and refine a unified Prices Dashboard using Dash Enterprise, integrating live and historical datasets
- Implement backend logic for price analytics, market trend indicators, spreads, and basis analysis
- Support the development of tools for arbitrage modelling, including import comparisons, trade-off analysis, and domestic market indices
- Assist in creating cross-commodity comparison visuals and sensitivity analysis features
- Extract, clean, and prepare data from multiple sources such as APIs, spreadsheets, and databases
- Detect and address missing data, anomalies, and quality concerns to maintain reliable datasets
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product leads to align functionality with business needs
- Document processes, methodologies, and data assumptions clearly
- Present analytical findings and dashboard outputs to stakeholders in a digestible, business-friendly format
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related technical field
- Proficient in Python and experienced with Dash, Plotly, or similar tools for data visualization
- Strong analytical skills, including numerical computation and backend development experience
- Familiarity with financial or commodity markets is beneficial, though not required
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a fast-paced, international team
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical work to non-technical audiences
