What The Role Is
Under the internship programme, you will be attached to the Human Resource Department in HDB's Corporate Development Group.
What You Will Be Working On
During your internship, you will be at the forefront of digital transformation and process reengineering. You'll be joining us during a major system migration that's reshaping how HR operates and delivers services to internal stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in studying and redesigning HR processes that directly impact thousands of employees.
Your main responsibilities will involve transforming manual, time-consuming processes into automated workflows using Whole-of-Government tools and includes:
- Collaborating with HR teams to identify pain points and develop innovative solutions
- Conducting comprehensive before-and-after analyses using concrete metrics such as time savings, error reduction, and efficiency gains
- Documenting process improvements and create implementation guides for stakeholders
- Designing seamless workflows for various benefits matters such as handphone claims and taxi expense processing etc. that eliminate bottlenecks, reduce approval times and enhance employee experience
- Improving existing SharePoint platforms to boost team collaboration and information sharing
You will develop expertise in process mapping, digital transformation, and change management whilst contributing to meaningful improvements that benefit HDB's entire workforce.
What We Are Looking For
Internship Period: Between May 2026 - Aug 2026
Preferred Disciplines: Business, Human Resource Management. Knowledge in Excel is preferred.
