Key Responsibilities
- Meet and coordinate with group hosts before events to ensure all arrangements meet expectations
- Review and analyse Banquet Event Orders to understand setup requirements, guest needs, timelines, and logistics
- Assist in executing special event arrangements and follow up to ensure smooth delivery
- Deliver exceptional guest service—greet visitors, anticipate needs, resolve issues graciously
- Maintain professionalism in appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies
- Support team operations and foster positive working relationships
- Complete safety training and follow safety procedures
- Perform physically active tasks such as standing/walking for long periods, lifting items up to 25 pounds, navigating stairs or uneven surfaces
- Carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- Must be a current university or college student
- Able to commit to a full-time onsite internship
- Strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, guest-facing environments
- Comfortable with physical tasks and long shifts
- Willingness to learn and embody Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards
