Overview
AECOM’s Singapore office is looking for an Acoustic Engineering Intern to support real-world environmental and infrastructure projects. You’ll work alongside engineers who specialise in noise, vibration, and sound compliance, gaining exposure to how acoustic standards are applied in buildings, transport systems, and urban development.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in on-site noise and vibration measurements to support ongoing projects
- Carry out acoustic calculations and modelling tasks under guidance
- Review engineering drawings and highlight potential compliance issues
- Compile documentation, summaries, and technical reports for project teams
- Support data organisation and accuracy checks for acoustic assessments
- Contribute to research tasks that improve project understanding and solutions
- Coordinate with engineers and planners during multidisciplinary meetings
- Help maintain tools, files, and equipment used for field measurements
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an environmental engineering, acoustics, or related degree
- Basic understanding of sound principles and environmental measurements
- Comfortable using MS Office and willing to learn new software tools
- Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
- Must be completing this internship as part of academic requirements
