Overview
The LEGO® Group is offering a 6-month Play Inventor Internship within its Creative Play Lab in Singapore. As part of the Play Discovery team, you’ll explore new play concepts, develop prototypes, and contribute to early-stage innovation projects. This hands-on internship gives you the chance to experiment with emerging technologies, physical and digital play, and inventive storytelling while working alongside experienced designers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities
- Imagine and prototype new play experiences, characters, and concepts.
- Research materials, technologies, and trends to inspire innovative play solutions.
- Communicate ideas through sketches, digital mockups, 3D prints, and physical models.
- Develop new LEGO elements and experiment with hands-on building techniques.
- Test prototypes, gather feedback, and iterate ideas for improved play experiences.
- Support cross-functional innovation missions and contribute to team projects.
- Assist in documenting discoveries, insights, and design processes.
- Collaborate with team members to drive the Creative Play Lab’s innovation goals.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in full-time study in Art, Design, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Available for the full internship period from January to June 2026.
- Conversational English proficiency.
- Experience in at least one of the following: sketching, 3D modeling, LEGO building, prototyping, digital design, or video editing.
- Curious, imaginative, and willing to explore unconventional ideas.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn from mentors and peers.
