As a Play Invention Intern, you’ll join a team that experiments with new ideas, emerging technologies, and playful prototypes to imagine future LEGO experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Develop early-stage concepts by visualising worlds, characters, and play experiences
- Build physical and digital prototypes using sketches, models, 3D tools, or simple electronics
- Explore new technologies and materials to inspire fresh play possibilities
- Test prototypes, gather feedback, and refine ideas through iteration
- Communicate concepts clearly using drawings, digital mock-ups, or quick builds
- Contribute to team-wide innovation missions and capability-building initiatives
- Work on personal mini-projects alongside collaborative assignments
- Support cross-functional brainstorming sessions with creative insights
Requirements
- Currently studying art, design, engineering, or a related field
- Available full-time from January to June 2026
- Comfortable communicating in English
- Experience with at least a few creative or technical skills (e.g., sketching, 3D software, model building, videography, prototyping, Adobe tools)
- Curious, adaptable, and willing to explore the unknown
- Comfortable switching between varied tasks and ambiguous briefs
