Job Description — Interior Design Intern
We are looking for a motivated and design-driven intern to support our interior design team. This role is ideal for students or early-career designers who enjoy hands-on project work, space planning, and material selection. You must have experience with SketchUp, as it will be used regularly.
This internship offers exposure to real client projects and the full interior design workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Support
- Use SketchUp to support design development and space planning
- Assist in selecting and coordinating colours, finishes, fabrics, and materials
- Contribute to producing design concepts according to project direction
Project Coordination
- Prepare, update, and organize quotations with accuracy
- Ensure timely submission of project documentation
- Support the team with miscellaneous design-related tasks
General Support
- Assist with day-to-day design activities
- Participate in design discussions and contribute creative ideas
- Help maintain project files, reference materials, and documentation
Requirements
- Experience with SketchUp is mandatory
- Strong interest in interior design and space planning
- Good eye for colours, materials, textures, and aesthetics
- Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently with clear guidance
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Students and fresh graduates are welcome
