Overview
The GRIT Trainee role in Regional Business Finance at Grab is a six-month, full-time internship based in Singapore. You will work with a regional finance team that partners closely with business units to ensure financial accuracy, scalable reporting, and well-structured accounting for new and existing products across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities
- Help document and standardise accounting treatments for Grab’s existing products
- Support finance teams in reviewing accounting approaches for new business initiatives
- Assist in mapping journal entries and financial structures to real business models
- Work with cross-functional finance teams to ensure smooth product and system launches
- Contribute to improving finance documentation for clarity and long-term usability
- Support initiatives that improve process efficiency and enable future automation
- Apply accounting knowledge to solve practical, business-focused finance challenges
Requirements
- Currently studying accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- Comfortable with basic accounting concepts and journal entries
- Interested in how finance supports technology-driven businesses
- Willing to learn, document processes, and work with different teams
- Able to explain ideas clearly in writing and discussions
- Basic Excel skills; exposure to data or coding tools is a plus
