Overview
Join EY’s Assurance team this summer as a Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) intern and gain hands-on experience in finance transformation, accounting advisory, and financial reporting. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support financial institutions and other clients in enhancing their finance processes, implementing new accounting standards, and driving data-informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in enhancing and testing accounting processes, internal controls, and finance applications.
- Support finance business process reviews, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
- Aid in accounting advisory projects such as new standard adoption, GAAP conversions, and restructuring.
- Provide accounting support for transactions, IPOs, carve-out financial statements, and post-acquisition Day 1 & Day 2 activities.
- Conduct data analysis to inform recommendations and support finance transformation initiatives.
- Participate in project management activities for large-scale finance and accounting projects.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Strong interest in combining financial reporting, accounting, and data analytics.
- Enthusiasm for using technology to drive process improvements.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn financial systems, organizational, and project management skills.
