Overview
Padang & Co is offering an Accounting and Finance Internship where you’ll be part of a dynamic team working closely with both startups and corporates across Singapore and the region. As an intern, you will manage financial records, support day-to-day accounting activities, and contribute to key finance projects that impact business decisions. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world financial operations in an innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and ensure timely updates for all transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and track cash, checks, and vouchers to maintain financial accuracy.
- Support payroll processing, invoice preparation, and payment follow-ups for overdue accounts.
- Produce financial reports to assist management in decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior staff on finance-related projects across departments.
- Monitor records regularly to detect and prevent errors or discrepancies.
- Assist in implementing improvements to accounting procedures and reporting.
Requirements
- Diploma, Nitec, Higher Nitec, or equivalent in accounting; relevant coursework preferred.
- Some prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus.
- Comfortable using MS Office, Google Suite, and accounting software like Xero.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High integrity and professionalism in handling financial data.
- Motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
