Padang & Co is offering an Accounting and Finance Internship where you’ll be part of a dynamic team working closely with both startups and corporates across Singapore and the region. As an intern, you will manage financial records, support day-to-day accounting activities, and contribute to key finance projects that impact business decisions. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world financial operations in an innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and ensure timely updates for all transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and track cash, checks, and vouchers to maintain financial accuracy.
Support payroll processing, invoice preparation, and payment follow-ups for overdue accounts.
Produce financial reports to assist management in decision-making.
Collaborate with senior staff on finance-related projects across departments.
Monitor records regularly to detect and prevent errors or discrepancies.
Assist in implementing improvements to accounting procedures and reporting.

Requirements

Diploma, Nitec, Higher Nitec, or equivalent in accounting; relevant coursework preferred.
Some prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus.
Comfortable using MS Office, Google Suite, and accounting software like Xero.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
High integrity and professionalism in handling financial data.
Motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
