Overview
Shopee is offering an opportunity for a Business Development / Export Project Associate to manage and drive sellers’ cross-border sales across Southeast Asia. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and governmental agencies to implement strategies that expand sellers’ reach from their origin market to other Shopee markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple key projects to drive cross-border selling initiatives
- Collaborate with regional teams to align strategies with business objectives
- Analyse market and seller data to identify actionable insights for growth
- Localize and execute plans according to the nuances of each seller market
- Foster and maintain relationships with government agencies to facilitate joint projects and export initiatives
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Management or related field
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence decision-making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to analyse large data sets and derive actionable strategies
- Strong project management skills and ability to monitor progress effectively
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
