Overview

This Commercial Finance Internship offers hands-on exposure to how finance partners with sales and marketing teams to drive business performance across Singapore and distributor markets. You will work closely with a Finance Manager in a “co-pilot” role, supporting planning, reporting, and analysis activities in a fast-paced consumer goods environment. The role blends financial analysis, business partnering, and systems exposure across the SEA region.

Key Responsibilities

Support budgeting and monthly forecasting for Singapore and distributor markets
Prepare sales trackers, shipment updates, and monthly performance reports
Analyse variances against budget, forecast, and prior periods, and explain key drivers
Assist with month-end closing, journals, and profit and loss reviews
Monitor expenses, promotions, and investments to assess ROI and margins
Track customer collections and overdue balances to support cash flow management
Help maintain pricing, margins, and master data across finance systems
Contribute to process improvements, audits, and new finance projects

Requirements

Undergraduate student able to commit full-time for at least 6 months
Comfortable with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and basic data analysis
Curious, organised, and willing to learn new systems and processes
Able to work well with different teams and cultures
Interested in consumer goods, beauty, or brand-driven businesses
Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working under deadlines
